Unfortunately the Tilke project never saw the light due to lack of financiers, although rumors have been constant and the land has been prepared since 2018, but with the new F1 organization a new group of backers has finally agreed to launch the project and the new track will be ready to be added to the database starting from 2023.
When was its first Grand Prix?
The new circuit will be ready starting from 2023 and will rotate with other two to host a GP in the country.
What’s the circuit like?

Where is it located?
In the Jakabaring sport complex, on the right side of the lake, in the south of Sumatra. It is served by an International airport. (3°01’12.9″S; 104°47’59.1″E)
