Clark International Speedway – Mabalacat

Circuit: Existing
Layout: Fictitious (designed by me) – © 2021 AllAlongTheRacetrack

When was the track built?

Inaugurated on November 2008, the original 18 turns layout was grade-4 FIA certified and it has hosted various cars and motorbikes events.
It was also featuring a drag strip, but when the new F1 organization has been announced, I have redesigned it adding a new stadium section and reshaping most of corners to increase safety standards and stands capacity.
The new track will be ready in 2023.

When was its first Grand Prix?

The new circuit will be ready for the new F1 in 2023 and will host the first ever GP in the country.

What’s the circuit like?

The almost fully new design features three very different sectors: the first one, characterized by the stadium section, has mainly slow turns.
The second one has three straights where overtakes will be possible and the final one is a sequence of high-speed corners before the final chicane that may generate interesting battles.
A very complete track, exciting for drivers and interesting for fans.

Where is it located?

Ninety kilometers north of Manila, close to Mabalacat town and just outside the Clark International Airport. (+ 15°12’28”, +120°32’15”)
