When was the track built?
Owned by the auto maker Geely it is one of the new tracks opened or opening in China in recent years.
Inaugurated in 2017, it has been designed by Alan Wilson, well-known for his works in the United States.
It is also surrounded by a kart track, commercial and amusement facilities.
When was its first Grand Prix?
One of the seven Chinese circuits that will rotate in both the Continental and World F1 series, it has never hosted a Grand Prix.
What’s the circuit like?
The first part, up to turn 12, is mainly stop-and-go with medium length straights that will allow overtakes.
From turn 13 there is a sequence of various chicanes of different speed and angles, spaced out by an hairpin at turn 17.
As other Wilson’s tracks it is very technical, with 23 corners in just 4 kilometers.
Where is it located?
At Chunxiao in the coastal development area of Beilun, in the Zhejiang province; it is served by an International airport (29°45’39.2″N; 121°52’10.6″E)
