When was the track built?

Built in 1999 by the Government of Valencia, willing to make the city a major hub for motorsport, it has hosted motorbike races since and it has been used for Formula 1 winter testing as well.
Famous for its grandstands that offer great views of the circuit, it is the eight and final entry of Spain for the new Formula 1 circuit database.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will host the first ever Formula 1 GP in 2023.
It is one of the eight Spanish circuit that will rotate for spots in the European and World Title series.

What’s the circuit like?

The GP circuit variant is just above 4km, with only one real main straight where overtaking for cars is easy.
Despite that, thanks to elevation changes and the iconic downhill final corner, it is liked by drivers and usually provides interesting races, which it is expected to happen also for the new Formula 1 cars.

Where is it located?

In Cheste, around 20km north of Valencia, served by its International airport.   (+ 39°29’01”, – 0°37’52”)
