One of the most famous British circuits, thanks also to its location, it has hosted all kind of events, including various Gold Cup races, held as non-titled F1 events until the 1970s.
Now it will be added to the F1 circuit database to enter the rotation for its first ever F1 GP.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will be the first ever race on this racetrack.
It’s one of the seven circuits to rotate for two spots in the European Continental Series and one in the World Title F1.

What’s the circuit like?

It has a very simple layout, where majority of turns are driven at high-speed, rewarding the bravest and most precise drivers.
The two chicanes and the Shell Oils Corner, turn 4, are the best overtaking spots.
Cars will need good balance in the long-radius fast curves; don’t forget that weather is often a factor in this part of the World.
