Autodrom Most – Most

Circuit: Existing
Layout: Actual

When was the track built?

Opened in 1983, it was the first ever permanent racetrack in the country, although there have been many races in the area since the war using improvised road courses.
Despite its interesting layout and a constant effort to modernize safety standards, it has always been overshadowed by Brno, and it managed to host mainly local or Continental events.
It will be included in the new Formula 1 circuit database to host a Grand Prix from 2023.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will be the first ever Formula 1 race on this racetrack.
It will rotate with Brno for the Czech spot in the F1 European Series calendar.

What’s the circuit like?

The new first chicane is also the best overtaking spot, after the long main straight.
After that there is a long “Zandvoort-like” sequence of nineteen corners with no breathing space for drivers, extremely challenging and interesting to watch for fans, which unfortunately doesn’t leave too much room for wheel-to-wheel battles.
Precision will be the essence to start in front and keep the position.

Where is it located?

In the north-west outskirt of Most, in the northern part of the country; Prague’s airport is the closest one, around an hour away. (+ 50°31’11”, + 13°36’12”)
