When was the track built?

Opened in 2004, it was the second circuit in the Middle East area.
Built to the latest safety and facilities standards it has hosted major GT events since the inauguration.
With the new F1 Continental Series it will also be featured in the Middle East Continental Series from 2023.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will be the first ever race in this country.
It will have a secured spot in the F1 Middle East Continental Series.

What’s the circuit like?

It is an interesting layout, with a mix of fast sweeping corners matched against tight, technical sections, which generates interesting races and good driving feeling for drivers.
And even if it has been recently built in the desert, it still offers interesting elevation changes.
It does look a great fit for F1 racing.

Where is it located?

In Motorcity, around 20 minutes south of the city centre and half an hour from the airport. (+ 25°03’04”, + 55°14’17”)
