In 2012, the last win on McLaren-Mercedes for Lewis Hamilton, after an intense battle with Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull-Renault, who started from pole; Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso will complete the podium after a great come back from 9th place.
It is one of the eight circuits in the Central area of the United States, which will rotate for three spots in the Continental Series.
What’s the circuit like?
Even if it’s a young circuit, it can already count various spots that are considered iconic: from the steep uphill main straight leading to a unique Turn 1, to the snake section that follows, faced at very high-speed and with constantly mutating elevation changes.
After the wide back straight, there is a twistier final part, that still delivers great wheel-to-wheel battles thanks to the corner angles and the possibility of using different trajectories.
Engine power is a big factor to win here.
Where is it located?
