When was the track built?
As part of the spirit of the new Formula 1 Organization, the Gem State was chosen as one of the eight circuits of the West Coast, as Idaho has been inhabited by Native American peoples until almost the beginning of the 20th century, when it became the 43rd State of the Union.
The streets of the capital Boise will host a GP from 2023, in a modern circuit, designed by me, in the downtown area.
All facilities will be temporarily built for the race.
When was its first Grand Prix?
It will be the first ever race in this venue.
It is one of the eight circuits in the West coast of the United States, which will rotate for three spots in the Continental Series.
What’s the circuit like?
It exploits the wide streets of the city, in its modern layout, with few 90° corners, various fast sections, like the winding section on Parkcenter Boulevard from Turn 3 to 8, or last straight after Turn 21 leading to the final corner.
Car will look to have low downforce and good top-speed to make good use of the many overtaking spots.
The park section could e insidious due to the proximity of the TecPro barriers.
Where is it located?
In the capital and most populous city of the State of Idaho, in the downtown area, crossing the river Boise twice and passing by the University, the Albertsons Stadium and Julia Davis Park. The city airport is connected with all major hubs in the country. (+ 43.602452, -116.195679)
