Port Louis Waterfront Circuit – Port Louis

Circuit: Fictitious
Layout: Fictitious (designed by me) – © 2022 AllAlongTheRacetrack

When was the track built?

Despite being in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius has been selected as venue for the opening race of the Oceania Continental Series, thanks to a street circuit, designed by me, that will start from the waterfront and its historical sites to go through the port area.
The environment is a mix of some of the most famous street courses and the layout looks promising for entertaining races.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will be the first ever race on this circuit.
It will host the 1st round of the Oceania Continental Series.

What’s the circuit like?

The final sector and the first corners may remind Monaco to many F1 fans, but this street course add to it at least five overtaking spots in the fast stop-start port section and as much high-speed corners.
Furthermore, the width of roads is different in each sector making extremely challenging for drivers to be quick and precise.
Hot temperatures and unpredictable weather, with possible heavy rains, will contribute to create an unpredictable and amusing Grand Prix.

Where is it located?

In the port and waterfront area of the capital of Mauritius, passing by the Aapravasi Ghat World Heritage Site and the Place d’Armes. (-20.158586, 57.503679).
