When was the track built?

It was opened in 1974, and it was including a short drag strip, a 3.7km road course, and an 800m oval track.
It has failed to become an important venue due to financial instability and many ownership change; the new owners since 2021 is the Kalispel Tribe of Indians.
Thanks to the new Formula 1 Organization the site will be completely redesigned, with a new Grade-1 circuit, whose main straight will also serve as drag strip, and a massive upgrade in facilities, all created by me.

When was its first Grand Prix?

It will be the first ever race in this venue.
It is one of the eight circuits in the West coast of the United States, which will rotate for three spots in the Continental Series.

What’s the circuit like?

Sector 1 and 3 have kept the concept of the original course, with long-radius, fast and sweeping corners, several opportunities for overtaking and high average speeds.
They’re connected by a new stadium section with eight twisty and slow turns, where driver ability and car balance will be more relevant, making the circuit complete and challenging.

Where is it located?

At Spokane, on the western side of Washington state, just 5km from the city airport, well connected with all major ones in the country. Seattle is around 450km to the East. (+ 47°39’37”, -117°34’21”)
