This mod has the Viking Motor Park, an actual project started in 1997, then abandoned and amended various times through the years, with the latest version designed by Tom Barnard of International Circuit Designs and reviewed by an American team in 2002, as a complex of a GP circuit, with different configurations, a drag strip and an oval. Unfortunately it was never done.
The International Circuit used by F1 will be 4.3km long and will feature two straights, parallel to the drag strip, connected by a slightly banked hairpin, which are the best overtaking spots.
The start could be tricky as the first true hard braking zone is T3.
Also T2 and the hairpin at T14 have a gentle banking.
Overall, it has a nice mix of slow and fast corners, enjoyable to drive with different type of cars.
The mod has:
- 2 layouts: International and Short + the oval circuit
- Pit Boxes
- Replay Cameras
- GrassFX and RainFX support
- Night lighting
- AI Lines
- Full compatibility with SOL, Pure, Custom Shaders Patch, and Content Manager
- Accurate representation of the real project rendering
- Unique items like kerbs, pits, barriers and bridges
- 3D Trees
